Another sculpture WIP - bigger this time
I will post pictures of my newest dollhouse girl tomorrow, the glue is still drying... only some little details and she will be ready for picture taking :))
While waiting, I decided to work on another project, a bigger sculpture (about 8 inches, probably).
I think it is a little different, and I can't decide if it is male or female... mmmmhhh...
Only the head and upper part is sculpted now, here we go:
Have a nice day, my friends!

Dollhouse child, WIP-2
Monday, November 22, 2010
Finally another dollhouse child, wip1
The last days I was busy with head sculpting, there is so much to learn... I use a lot of pictures for sculpting but the real thing is always best! I'm so lucky that I have children that I can bind on a chair for sculpting practice, heheheh... just kidding!
But, sculpting exercises will not get you these cool comments, like: "you're the greatest sculptor I ever met.... etc." (I am dreaming now, LOL!) They are boring to look at, I'm afraid...
This head is for my newest dollhouse girl or boy, it is already baked once and will now be baked a second time for the first layer of the genesis paint. I hope you will enjoy this work in progress.
Hugs,
Alex

I need to practice... sculpting hands...
You may think that I have been idle the last weeks, but I was really busy... studying the anatomy.
So, I was a good girl and did some hand studies, not in dollhouse size though, that would kill my eyes, lol!
Also, I wanted some space to work on, so these hands are the size of about a 8-9 inch doll.
Can you see, that I had a lot of fun making them? I even numbered them, I am so proud of myself :)) And I am going to make some more... I think, feet will be next :))
Hugs,
Alex
